A multi-generational Colorado native, BHA Life Member Roger Cesario started hunting elk at age 13 with his father and grandfather. Today, Roger is an avid traditional bowhunter and fly fisherman who also loves to chase spring turkeys and autumn upland birds.
"A while ago," Roger admits, he earned a B.A. in Business Management from Western State College in Gunnison, followed by a 19-year career with the Crested Butte Mountain Ski patrol. Today, he partners with his brother Rod as owners of the Dragonfly Anglers Fly Shop and Guide Service in Crested Butte. A busy man, Roger also is a general contractor and operates Bar K Ranch Outfitters (www.bar-kranch.com), offering guided big game hunts on both private and public land.
Along with hunting and fishing, Roger loves exploring the surrounding mountains with his wife Teresa and their two Labrador retrievers. As one who "walks the BHA talk," Roger Cesario is an active participant in local and state public-lands issues having to do with public hunting and fishing habitat conservation, including especially travel management and energy development.
We welcome Roger Cesario to the CO BHA "lifers club."
